If you’re visiting Australia you’ll need to have comprehensive travel insurance, which includes all the medical aspects. Ideally you’ll have taken out standard or backpacker’s travel insurance prior to setting out from your own country – but sometimes when you’ve been on the road awhile things can slide so now’s the time to purchase Australian travel insurance.
